Role: Senior Programme Manager
Contract – 10 Months
Start Date: March 2022
Location: London /Remote
Rate: £750 – £915
Role Description/Background:
- HSBC Deputy Chief Operating Office IT (DCOO) are looking for a Senior IT Programme Manager to join its Procurement IT team
- A seasoned IT Programme manager is needed to manage a number of IT initiatives which are inflight and need completing in 2022
- Primary need is for an in-house Procure to Pay solution implementation which need extending to a further 9 countries in 2022
- The deployments teams are in inflight, but an IT Programme manager is now required to manage governance, critical issues and remain on delivery target
- The delivery teams will comprise a mixture of resources from onshore, offshore, contingent and vendor management
- This role will report into the Head of Procurement IT and will engage with senior IT and business stakeholders through portfolio review meetings
- There are a number of other projects across Procurement IT (Source to Pay) that may need guidance and assistance as part of this role
Essential Candidate Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in IT Programme Management and delivery leadership experience primarily in Procurement Source to Pay technology
- Strong track record of Programme Management managing multiple threads of work and parallel country deployments.
- Knowledge of Agile Frameworks preferable
- Proven IT Programme management of multiple Procurement Source to Pay implementations within Financial Services or a heavily regulated environment
- Able to manage a complex delivery plan, integrating IT deliverables across multiple teams in various locations
- Ensuring all Technology practices and associated tools are adopted and adhered to the programme
- Vendor management skills (large contract to oversee with external resource provider)
- Excellent Finance and resource tracking experience. This includes risk, issue and dependency management
- Experienced in global implementations and delivering reports and presenting to senior stakeholders across business and IT
- Strong written, verbal communications skills and ability to demonstrate leadership, trust and influence with stakeholders
- Driven and action oriented. Problem Solving capability. Resilient and able to work in a high-pressured environment
- Able to stretch across other deliverables in our book or work in future
