We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of HR Project Manager
Role Purpose / Day to Day:
· Day to day project management/ PMO across a number of flagship projects
· Co-creating and building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes
· Managing project delivery proactively, balancing planning, scope, schedule, budget, communications and risks
· Drafting programme proposals and updates for senior stakeholder
· Reporting and managing progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project or programme leadership and committees (as appropriate) and making recommendations to influence decision making, in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation
· Managing governance operating rhythm and required inputs
· Providing guidance and maintaining a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectives, where appropriate, and to the change portfolio across HSBC
· Conducting review and analysis of data, MI, and associated trends to support the articulation of specific problem statements and facilitating solution definition and delivery
· Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Includes working alongside project (HR, Communications etc.) stakeholders, to assess and resolve issues / blockers to the delivery of the project
· Working with project controls and procedures, adhering to HSBC project standards and working in alignment with HSBC project methodology at all times
- Knowledge of HR departments/core functions, and the execution of business projects
- Understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives
- Good understanding of project and implementation management in the context of a HR/People transformation
- Knowledge of key project and programme management risks and considerations
- Knowledge of the external environment – regulatory, political, competitors etc.
Experience
- Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior stakeholders
- Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments
- Proven ability in successfully managing and delivering complex global / regional change initiatives at scale
- Knowledge of the Global businesses and broad understanding of the role of HR in an organisation
- Proven experience in operating in a project manager role across a number of projects
- Proven experience of managing financial and operational controls across a number of projects

Qualifications and Accreditations
- Typical qualifications would include a Bachelor’s degree / equivalent experience
- Desirable - professional qualifications in Project Management e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP)
