SharePoint Developer 

Length: 6-month

Rate: £300/day PAYE or £380/Day Umbrella

Location: London (remote)


Business Area: Technology Third Party Management

The primary purpose of the Tech TPM team is to govern all third party spend for Digital Business Service including managing and continuously improving the Cost Management processes. This requires working with the GBGF IT CIOs, COOs and supporting teams to optimize IT’s utilization of third-party hardware, software, resources, and associated IT services (including non-permanent workforce) to maximize value and cost savings to HSBC along with supply chain optimisation and Third Party Risk

 

Role Purpose:

Technology Third Party Management SharePoint Developer, will be responsible for:

 Design, build and improvement across various Technology Third Party SharePoint 2013 sites.

 

The scope of the role therefore includes:

  • Write and modify code to build applications and sites based on business needs and requirements.
  • Reviewing existing SharePoint sites and make recommendations for the consolidation or separation of each one based on requirements.
  • Wide understanding and experience of the user experience and user journey.
  • Ability to take complex requirements and create a user focused plan for each SharePoint.
  • Ability to prioritise and plan for a consistent, transparent usable SharePoint/s across Tech Third Party
  • Configuring and customising SharePoint 2013 where possible.
  • Delivering complex, scalable and robust solutions across all SharePoint sites.
  • Ability to work with internal clients at all levels of the organisation and to identify user requirements and formulate an effective and scalable technical solution.
  • Creation of basic prototypes to secure agreement from each business area.
  • Make suggestions for clean-up of existing SharePoint sites.


The ideal candidate would be expected experience of the following:

  • HTML/CSS.
  • JavaScript.
  • jQuery
  • Microsoft SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online.
  • Up to 5 years’ experience working with SharePoint 2013.
  • Front end design.
  • Agile delivery and being part of a scrum team.
  • Used to working within a complex organisation, with sometimes differing requirements
  • Problem solving.
  • Working on own initiative to find answers and asking questions where required
