Job Title: Migration Manager
Duration: September 2025
Location: 8 Cork Street – 2/3 days in the office
Pay Rate: Umbrella: £565.10 – Inside IR35
Role Purpose:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Migration Manager to oversee the smooth transition of customers from one system to another. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and managing customer progression through the migration process, ensuring accurate reporting, and coordinating with multiple teams to manage manual handoffs.
This role requires advanced Excel skills, exceptional stakeholder management abilities, and a deep understanding of the business and its systems.
Key Accountabilities:
• Coordination and Handoffs:
o Manage multiple parties to ensure effective coordination of the migration plan
o Oversee manual handoffs between teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of migration stages.
o Act as the main point of contact for resolving delays or issues in the migration process and any post migration issues
• Customer Progress Tracking:
o Monitor and manage customer progression through various stages of the migration process.
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using end-user Excel reports.
• Reporting and Data Management:
o Generate and analyze reports to identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement.
o Present regular updates to stakeholders on migration progress.
• Stakeholder Management:
o Collaborate with internal teams to align on migration priorities and timelines.
o Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including with clients where necessary, ensuring expectations are managed and challenges addressed.
• Process Optimization:
o Identify opportunities to improve migration workflows and reporting processes.
o Provide feedback to improve system functionality and enhance customer experience.
Required Skills and Experience
• Proven experience in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
• A deep understanding of the company’s business operations and systems.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems proactively and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with system migration projects or similar large-scale transitions.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Avaloq and BMM
