Role Title: Senior Operational Analyst – Legal

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Canary Wharf

Rate: £642.16 per day via Umbrella (Inside IR35)

About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for a challenging and dynamic role in RRP Recovery Resolution Planning. This position demands a deep understanding of the legal, with a focus on liquidity loans and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Framework:

• Expertise in the legal intricacies of loan origination and management, including various loan types such as corporate loans.

• Ensure that all loans comply with regulatory requirements and undergo environmental evaluations where necessary.

Documentation and Processes:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive playbook that outlines business requirements, procedural needs, and functional specifications with a strong legal focus.

• Manage the due diligence process, ensuring that all loans undergo thorough scrutiny through detailed Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).

• Ensure the confidentiality and proper flow of transactional documents, adhering to strict governance protocols.

International Considerations:

• Address and rectify any suboptimal practices in the UK as we expand into new regions such as Mexico and Malta.

• Ensure that international operations comply with local legal requirements and best practices.

Data Room and Due Diligence:

• Oversee the completion of DDQs for all loans, ensuring comprehensive due diligence is conducted.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong legal background, ideally as a solicitor or paralegal, with experience in banking law.

• Familiarity with liquidity loans and financial products, with experience in treasury or liquidity management.

• Extensive experience with DDQs and due diligence processes within a banking environment.

• Experience working within a bulge bracket bank or similar institutions, with a focus on residential, corporate, and wholesale lending.

• Preferably, experience with English law and managing change in project cycles within a consulting or change management capacity.

Jurisdictional Preferences:

• Experience in English law is preferred.

• Candidates should have a strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks in banking, with a focus on project management and change management.
