Technical Officer Wealth Operations

Rate: PAYE: £13.50

Location: Hybrid – Fareham – 2 day a week

Duration – 12 months

Role Summary:

HSBC are currently recruiting a Technical Officer Wealth Operations who shall be part of the Global Operations team to assist in producing HMRC trust tax returns and individual tax liabilities for trust.

Key Responsible

• Provide a high-quality service to produce HM Revenue & Customs Trust Tax Returns

• Complete calculations and payments of individual tax liabilities for Trusts

• Completion and dispatch of Income Tax certificates for all personal and trust investment portfolios

• Ensure work is completed within Trust Services Service Level Agreements

• Assist projects with key regulatory changes

• Assist in producing Management Information (MI)

Knowledge and Experience:

• Technical knowledge of wealth/trust products

• Relevant knowledge in such systems as WGHSS, GHSS HUB, IMS, Phoenix, TLM, TradeWeb, Unavista, EY First, MD3, CGiX, Browser Main Menu & HNET

• Extensive experience of data handling and analysis

• Strong attention to detail, with widespread knowledge of Excel and Visual Basic

• Anticipates potential problems and challenges, mitigating their impact and all associated risk

• Proactive approach with a proven record of strong decision making
