Job Title: Alt Data Analysis Project Manager
Location: Hybrid/London
Duration:6 months with possible extension
Rate: Up to £750 per day via an approved umbrella company
My Client is looking for an Alternative Data Analysis Project Manager to join their team.
We are looking for a project manager with significant experience in Alternative Data.
Your objective will be to accelerate the definition of data requirements across the business:
• By collating user requirements from senior stakeholders across the business to provide initial guidance
• By coordinating with different Alternative workstreams within our asset classes
• By supporting the data requirements from these workstreams, and sharing these with the Data team
• By contributing your input and experience on the Data and IT architecture with our internal specialists (Alt IT architect, Data team).
We are operating in 5 major asset classes (indirect: Private Markets and Hedge Funds; direct: Private Credit, Real Assets, Venture Capital).
We have Project Managers or Business Analysts working on some of these platforms’ improvements. You will work with them to make sure we define appropriately the data requirements.
What we are looking for:
• Good project management skills, with great interaction skills from senior stakeholders to Analysts and from data specialist to Alt Front Office colleagues.
• Mandatory: knowledge of Alternative Asset Management – Ideally, certain level of knowledge on specific asset types and related business processes within our business
• Following asset classes: in Indirect investments (funds of funds) - Private Equity or Hedge Funds; in Direct investments: Private Credit, Real Assets, Venture Capital
• Processes: origination, portfolio management, capital calls and distributions, valuations, NAV validation, reporting
• Ability to switch between project management skills and analysis.
• Ability to synthesise the high-level picture while understanding the details.
• Significant experience in Alt data management and set up.
• Ideally knowledge of some of our tools or considerations: Webfolio, Dynamo, Azure, and potentially Allvue, Sentry, eFront, Mercatus, WSO.
