Investor Relations Specialist

Location: Hybrid – 8 Canada Square – 2 days a week
Duration – 6 months – with the possibility of extensions
Role Summary:
HSBC are currently searching for an Investor Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team within the Alternative Investment arm of HSBC. In this role, you shall provide will provide ongoing support to a range of stakeholders across asset management and will work within the newly created Investor Relations team. This team will work alongside Senior Product Specialists, the Salesforce/Client Segments and the Investment team to provide a ‘best in class’ level of service to our internal and external clients.
Key Responsible
• Helping to support both internal and external stakeholders in providing timely responses to investor queries
• Promoting HAIL as a Centre of Excellence for Alternative Investments both within the HSBC Group and externally amongst clients and advisers
• Implementing growth and efficiency initiatives to maintain a high quality service offering.
• Help provide thought leadership in product space, to include written materials for external publication
• Positioning versus competitors
• Communicate sales propositions and investment opportunities
• Reporting: writing/editing/reviewing client reporting where necessary
• Client Service: on-going support both internal and external clients
Knowledge and Experience:
• An in-depth knowledge of alternative investment products and markets is essential.
• Experience of client management is essential and knowledge of the range of different structural solutions helpful.
