Agile Coach

£770.59 Umbrella per/day

London, open to remote working  

6 month contract with potential for extensions 

 

Role Summary:

HSBC is looking for an Agile Coach to join the Global Private Banking & Wealth (GPB&W) Value Stream. This role will Lead sAFE classes, Engage with the wider Agile Community of practice to Develop courses and look how Agile tooling can be used and implemented better within the SVS

 

The Agile Coach builds the Agile maturity with Leadership and Agile Teams throughout the This role will promote leadership behavior coaching and desirable Agile Team behaviors such as cross-team working, furthering empowerment of engineers, and streamlining escalations as well as delivering and support the delivery of instructor led training, specifically in the field of Agile Ways of Operating (Agile WOO)

 

Role Responsibilities:

•        Deliver training programmes to internal audiences, including delivery of sAFE Agile Training, Product Owner Bootcamp, Scrum Master Bootcamp etc.

•        Run regular check in sessions with each Sub Value Stream (SVS) and identify learning needs from their coaches, scrum masters or leads

•        Engaging with the wider business to look across tooling and how agile tooling can be used.

•        Engaging with the agile community of practice to look at materials and discuss courses.

•        Support the development of a range of training solutions and other relevant learning interventions based on the training needs identified regarding Agile WOO

•        Support in analysing and evaluating training needs, plans or schedules to ensure employees receive the appropriate learning, including the maintenance of Training Pathways

•        Ensure practices and procedures are adhered to and training materials remain compliant with HSBC and regulatory standards

•        Build Agile Team capability across new ways of working

•        Support Lean Portfolio Management practices

•        Refine team structures using the Agile Target Operating Model as a framework and guide

 

Skills / Experience:

•        Senior Stakeholder engagement/Management

•        Coaching People – Ability and high “EQ” needed to be able to successfully facilitate learning across a wide range of individuals and personalities.

  • Delivery-focused with attention to detail and ensure tasks are completed on time and to high level of quality
  • Experience of leading sAFE workshops/classes
  • Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to succeed within a matrix management structure and build and maintain global team relationships
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and a flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities

 

 

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Experience in Banking/ Financial Services
  • Experience in Coaching
  • Experience in Agile
  • HSBC/RBWM experience
  • Graduate preferred
  • Experience of working on complex tasks and assignments
  • Previous background of working in a matrix organisation structure; ability to persuade individuals at different levels
