We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Delivery Manager.


This role holder leads and is accountable for designing, building and running capabilities and features, within our Dynamic Experience Platform, digital customer experience design and execution, plus ongoing product performance management.


The role covers a range of products and customer types across HSBC global WPB business, with a particular focus on our retail customer base and experiences in the HSBC global public website and mobile app.


The role involves being part of global cross functional teams (composed of analysts, designers, UX writers, scrum teams) across different locations operating in a Scaled Agile product development environment.


We’re looking for a high calibre, enthusiastic & customer focused product owner, who has experience managing, designing and delivering great products and experiences across multiple channels.



In this role, you will:


  • Manage aspects of the product lifecycle, design, deliver and commercialise new features and capabilities that meet the needs of customers/users and achieve financial and other targets.
  • Drive delivery, and support Product Owner, for one or more products or features; prioritising product requirements, owning a product backlog and development roadmaps, ensuring all necessary processes and procedures are followed to manage risk
  • Analyse market and/or user research, feedback, expert opinion and usage data to understand needs and opportunities.
  • Use product management best practice to enable your value stream / sub value stream to meet its OKRs (objectives and key results)
  • Working with product leads, lead a quarterly review of the vision, strategy and roadmap in-line with quarterly priorities for your feature areas
  • Work closely with market, business, technology and delivery teams to ensure everyone understands the priorities and end state vision of your product
  • Customer personalisation and engagement; identify and own initiatives to personalise the experience for your products, to drive deeper engagement and commercialisation



To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:



· Experience supporting or leading on new product development and commercialisation, ideally with experience across digital channels

· Experience in product management, such as digital product management, agile software product delivery, product portfolio management (i.e. credit cards), or business analysis

· Experience in scaling digital mobile app design and development, as a global journey to multiple markets, is appreciated.

· Experience working with dispersed cross functional teams in an agile environment

· Consumer financial services industry experience, or experience in a FinTech, would be of benefit

· Problem solving skills

· Results orientated with a great ‘Get it done together’ mind-set, and collaboration skills
