Role: UK Solutions Architect for IT Service Chain Mapping

Duration: Until November 2024

Location: Sheffield 2 days per week

Rate: Up to £899 per day via an approved umbrella company

 

Requirement: We are currently looking to recruit a Solution Architect to work on in the integration of Business Services in to ServiceNow to join with Technology Services and IT Service Management operational processes as part of our operational resilience programmes to meet UK PRA regulatory requirements.

 Principal responsibilities

  • Take a leading role as part of a team who will ensure form solution designs based on solid foundations to enable the HSBC response to PRA operational resilience requirements.
  • Become an SME in this space and lead others who are Analysts, Engineers, and Consultants throughout the requirements, analysis, build and deployment phases.
  • Face off to stakeholders around the work being progressed.
  • Ensure that appropriate documentation is produced in a timely manner with appropriate endorsements.
  • Interface and provide consultation and leadership in the relevant Design Authorities

Requirements

  • Experience of working within a large, complex and geographically dispersed organisation including matrix management structure and across time zones
  • Strong relationship management capabilities with an ability to engage, influence and collaborate with stakeholders across organisational boundaries enabling the delivery of high standard outcomes
  • Self starter, able to lead self and others, proven experience of leading others and creating an environment that supports and inspires people to develop and deliver
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles & frameworks
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the power and value of data with an ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs and deliver organisational strategy
  • Knowledge on Data Governance / Data Linage / Data Modelling / Data Privacy / Master & Metadata Management is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in line with HSBC standards including acting with integrity and ethically 
  • Embracing Change and Innovation, a track record of delivering change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways
  • Achieving excellence, set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
