Senior Communications Manager

London (Hybrid)

£770.59 p/d Umbrella

Contract until end of Feb 2024

Role Summary:

HSBC is currently searching for a Senior Communications Manager to join the team in London to be a part of their Global Private Banking and Wealth Business (GPB&W). Within this role you would be responsible for promoting GPB&W’s global capabilities by producing multimedia content for LinkedIn and other social media channels and generating positive media coverage around the world.

Responsibilities:

·Promote GPB&W’s global capabilities by producing multimedia content for LinkedIn and other social media channels, and activities such as print and broadcast interviews, op eds, news market commentary, press releases, awards, podcasts, videos, animations, infographics, and webinars.

·Maintain an accurate communications grid to enhance the effectiveness of these activities

·Develop and maintain a library of key messages, Q&A documents, images, b-rolls, case studies and digital collateral

·Manage communications issues and reputational risks, which arise around the world

·Maintain strong relationships with top-tier journalists and influencers

·Possess strong relationship management skills to drive change and influence outcomes positively

·Evaluate the effectiveness of all activities

Skills:

· Senior experience of promoting the capabilities of a global business by producing multimedia content for LinkedIn and generating positive media coverage around the world

· Excellent writing skills gained through working in journalism or communications

· Excellent strategic planning and project management skills, including experience of maintaining a communications grid to coordinate activities

· Effective stakeholder management skills, including resilience and an ability to work confidently and effectively with senior executives around the world

· Experience of prioritising competing demands and an ability to work quickly
