Early Careers Recruiter/Co-ordinator

Rate: £200.00

Sheffield – 2-3 days

Duration – 12 months

 

Our client HSBC is currently seeking a Recruiter to join their team working from their offices in Sheffield, this contract will initially be for 12 months.

 

Role Purpose

 

· To work with the business to co-ordinate and execute the campus marketing and attraction strategy for Graduate, Summer Intern and Apprentice hires across Digital Business Services (DBS).

· To co-ordinate events and recruitment activities

· Work with third parties on D&I initiatives.

· Support the wider Graduate Recruitment team in London and Sheffield

· To support the DBS business with their Emerging Talent hiring needs - Graduate, Schools & Apprenticeship hiring as relevant

 

Experience / Qualifications

 

· Proven graduate recruitment and marketing experience (ideally within a global Financial Services or Professional Services environment)

· Good understanding of different educational systems (Europe, Americas, Asia-Pacific)

· Competent user of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Experience of HR systems / databases / Applicant Tracking Systems

· European language desirable but must be fluent in English

· Minimum of 12 months experience working in this sector

 

Responsibilities

 

· Support with all aspects of Student Recruitment

· Execute the target university and on campus approach

· Build relationships with ‘on programme’ graduate cohort and support with their development

· Build active relationships and knowledge base with defined target universities under remit. Ensure cross-business activity is developed and a partnership approach with fellow Analyst Recruiters and the global team in order to present a united face on campus

· Build ongoing, year-round relationships with university careers services and student societies etc. to effectively plan and execute all campus event logistics for milk round campaign for relevant target universities under ownership

· Regularly attend campus events at target universities across UK

· Build relationships with ‘on programme’ graduate cohort and support with their development

· Regularly attend networking seminars to keep abreast of industry developments / competitor activity and share learning with team and stakeholders

·Timely sourcing of business representatives for all events
