FX Business Analyst – Interest Rate Derivatives

Summary:
HSBC Innovation Bank is currently recruiting for a FX Business Analyst to join their team in London on a 6-month contract. Within this position, you would be responsible for supporting the implementing new products within the FX space, primarily focusing on Interest Rate Derivatives. Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
o Collaborate closely with Sales & Product to gather and understand business requirements. (Multi dealer platforms, Multilateral trading facility, Interest rate derivatives, API)
o Analyse business requirements to capture underlying needs, challenges and opportunities for HINV Markets
o Translate business requirements into clear, concise and actionable functional/technical specifications and compile business justification.
2. Documentation and Training:
o Develop and maintain comprehensive user HINV documentation/marketing materials for Markets products, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and user-friendliness.
o Create training materials and conduct training sessions for HINV Markets on the use of Markets products
o Provide ongoing support to HINV Markets through user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting assistance.
3. Product Enhancement
o Collaborate with technology teams to implement product enhancements and new features as necessary.
4. Market Intelligence and Regulatory Compliance:
o Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, developments, and regulations in the Markets market.
o Analyse regulatory requirements and ensure compliance for Markets products and services.
o Determine training and governance requirements to enable Sales-Traders to market and execute additional products
o Provide insights and recommendations to the business on market trends and regulatory changes.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Help manage the Markets product roadmap and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Participate in project management activities for Markets product development and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Markets products with other systems.
- Present Markets product updates and findings to senior management.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Markets team.
Experience:
- Good financial services / banking experience
- Experienced Business analyst / Product Owner
- Strong knowledge of interest rate derivatives
- Experience working within the FX space within a BA capacity
- Good communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Knowledgeable of Multi-Level Programmes
