IM Programme - HR Consultant

£642.16 per day via Umbrella

London (Hybrid)

6 month contract (Potential extensions)

HSBC are currently searching for a HR Programme Consultant to join their team in London to help support on their signature International Manager (IM) Programme. The IM programme is woven into the HSBC DNA and aims to provide an internationally mobile workforce.

If successful, within this role, you would be accountable for the resourcing strategy and execution as well the development of the newly recruited population. Additionally, this position will have specific focus on leading how we attract, select, develop and retain the right talent on the IM programme ensuring we secure skills supply for the future as well as developing sustainable diverse pipelines into the organization.

Responsibilities:

·      Development of a robust hiring strategy for the IM programme which centers on securing skills for the future and building diverse sustainable pipelines

·      Owning the implementation plan of the above for a 2-5 year horizon – to influence all aspects, from how we attract, select and develop Talent as well as processes (e.g. assessment)

·      Partnering with other HR leaders across Talent Acquisition and People Capability to help shape IM approach to Attraction strategy / Selection and assessment / Induction / People development and training / People experiences

·      Support the management of demand plan, providing comprehensive inputs required for FRP and ongoing forecasts

·      Support on all matters relating to IM funding e.g.cost build-up, IM movements, IM benefits, changes to policies and procedures

·      Resolution of any issues linked to IM assignments for GCB5s

·      Supporting activity on quarterly updates for the Corporate Centre ExCo on drivers of IM programme costs / movements etc

·      Develop a communication plans and marketing campaigns including creation of a new website, promotional videos and visual brand design

Skills / Experience:

·      Experience in operating at a senior level within complex Financial Services organisations (Banking preferred) with wide geographic coverage

·      Talent/HR Business Partnering Skills

·      Experience in running the recruitment and assessment processes

·      Strong programme governance to manage and track progress

·      International mindset and awareness of challenges linked to moving people internationally

·      Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of excellent stakeholder management, working effectively across teams and problem solving

·      Ability to bring analytical rigour and structure and effective solutions to poorly defined problems

·      Proficient user of Power Point and Excel
