Job Title:            TA Transformation Specialist

Rate:                    £600 PAYE / £770.59 Umbrella

London:              Hybrid 2 in the office

Contract:            6 months with the potential of extensions  


We are seeking an experienced TA Transformation Specialist to join our team working from our London offices. The contract will be 6 months initially with the possibility of extensions.


We are embarking on an exciting global transformation to increase our value driving, future-fit Talent Acquisition capabilities. We’re looking for someone who has experience in designing and implementing TA Target Operating Models for sizeable organisations with global scale and complexity. This transformation is one of HSBC’s flagship HR priorities and once delivered will add huge value. You don’t need financial services experience and in fact, we would value experiences from diverse backgrounds.


Role Purpose:

The core purpose of this role is to accurately assess the current status of TA, define future needs, recommend solutions and sustainable implementation plans.


You will leverage your expertise in global talent acquisition transformation, specifically in design and successful implementation of optimising, future-fit Target Operating Models. 


Key Accountabilities

•        Conduct a thorough assessment of HSBC's current TA target operating model, performance and reputation.

•        Partner with a broad set of stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize needs.

•        Partner with colleagues to design a new target operating model incorporating external best practices, ensuring optimization now and capabilities for the future.

•        Develop a roadmap for implementation of the new model ensuring sustainable change, buy-in and adoption.

•        Proactively manage a diverse set of stakeholders, varying from senior leaders and customers to colleagues within TA and the broader HR and transformation eco-system.

•        Responsible for a variety of in-program governance and progress reporting.


Role Requirements

You will have led the design, transformation and successful implementation of Global TA Target Operating models on multiple occasions. In so doing, you will have developed expert skills & experience in the following: -

•        TA organization design, including but not limited to global/local balance, service proposition segmentation and capability building.

•        Expert experience in developing flexible and scalable TA staffing solutions balancing in-house / RPO / augmentation and on/off/near shoring activities.

•        Being very comfortable with data gathering and analysis to inform decision making.

•        Analysing recruiting data and metrics including recruiter capacity and productivity analysis.

•        External market best practice and industry knowledge.

•        Ability to network, influence and build relationships.

•        Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

•        Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•        Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

·        This role reports directly into our Global TA Target Operating Model Design Lead and forms part of a small strategic TA transformation team.
