PMO Analyst   

London/ Hybrid

£275/ Day

6 Month Contract – Likely extensions

Our client HSBC are currently seeking an experienced PMO Analyst to join their team in the London office/remote working, this contract will be for 6 months with a review to be extended.

 

Context

Finance has mobilised the Regulatory Reporting Enhancement Programme (“RREP”) to transform the Finance operating model and control framework. The Basel 3.1 Operating Model & Controls (“B3.1 OMC”) team plays a key role in implementing the RREP requirements for PRA reporting. The team will deliver across two key programmes to tight and competing timelines. This gives rise to the need for tight programme governance by a Project Management Officer.

 

Job Profile

The Programme Management Office (PMO) role will be located within the B3.1 OMC delivery team and span the design and implementation of regulatory and internal change across the globe. It will also capture all OMC deliverables for the RREP programme. The principal accountability of the PMO role is to support the B3.1 OMC Programme Manager in carrying out project monitoring, governance and reporting activities.

The PMO will not have any direct reports but will work closely with the B3.1 OMC Programme Manager and Governance Lead.

 

The PMO Officer will hold most or all of these responsibilities:

• Tracking statuses of project deliverables and milestones

• Risk and issue monitoring and co-ordination

• Coordination of the regular project and programme level reporting

• Co-ordination of project governance arrangements, including setting up schedules of review and sign-off meetings

• Managing the collection, collation and processing of project information from stakeholders

• Managing and updating project documentation, including collation of sign-off packs

 

Experience and additional skills:

• Ability to be flexible, coordinate, prioritise, meet deadlines and work independently

• Ability to tailor approach to individual stakeholders

• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

• Ability to absorb and learn information quickly and proactively resolve problems

• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Previous experience of PMO and /or providing PM Support within Financial Services (desirable)
