Job Title: Group ER Manager – ER Transformation

Location: HSBC London

Pay Rate: Competitive

Duration: 6 Months ( highly probability of extension )


Role Purpose:


The role holder will work with the Group ER Lead - Continuous Improvement to enable Group ER to achieve its strategic priority, specifically focusing on investigation transformation activity in 2023, including priorities related to the findings of the ER Investigation Thematic Audit and continuous improvement activities for Group ER.


Key activities will include:


  • Work with the ER Lead – Continuous Improvement and the ER Transformation programme team to implement multiple workstreams identified as ER transformation priorities including, but not limited to, the introduction of fungible cohort of investigators, risk assessment, allocation, and triage, quality assurance redesign, and standardisation and streamlining of policies and procedures
  • Work with the Change and Adoption lead and Functional analysts to create communication content & collateral and SME input to training materials for the multiple workstreams
  • Support the standardisation and simplification of existing investigation processes with the introduction of new global standards, working with Business Analysts to create SOPs and HR Direct content, new tools and guidance for the multiple workstreams, including the HR FIM mandatory procedure
  • Contribute to the roll out of continuous improvement activities, including offshoring and automation including use of AI and note taking, 360 feedback and actioning global standards for business led investigations,
  • Collaborate with the ER Transformation Team, global ER stakeholders, including HR Advisory, HRIT, channel management, Global Whistleblowing Oversight Teams, other Investigation Functions and Regional and Country ER teams to deliver investigation transformation activity
  • Contribute to the wider ER transformation agenda, working alongside, Project and Programme Managers
  • Support remediation of existing MSIIs/MAPs
  • Support the skills and capabilities assessment for investigators.

Role Context:


ER Transformation Programme team supports the implementation of ER’s transformation priorities, working closely with Product owners from across HSBC, including e.g., HR Advisory, HR channel management, HR systems and analytics, HR business partners, HR Risk, the business and other functions, where relevant to ensure that the outcomes are fit for purpose for the Group.


ER transformation priorities include, but are not limited to, remediation of actions following the ER Investigation Thematic Audit, such as the redesign of the Quality Assurance process and continuous improvement activities for Group ER, including investigation transformation including risk assessment and triage and fungible investigator cohort.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualification


Knowledge


An understanding of the following would be beneficial to the role holder:

· HSBC Group structures, values, behaviour’s, processes, and objectives

· ER business & processes and the impact HR processes have upon HR Systems

· Knowledge of ServiceNow desired but not essential


Experience


· Experience of working in HR and/or ER investigations

· Able to understand, elicit, evolve existing processes

· Identifying continuous improvement activities and implementing recommendations
