Pay Rate: £642.16 Per Day Umbrella or £500 Per Day PAYE / Inside IR35



Role Purpose


HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world. We are currently seeking a Recruitment and Talent Target Operating Model Specialist to join our global team based in London. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a new target operating model for recruitment and talent management across our organisation.

As a Recruitment and Talent Target Operating Model (TOM) Specialist, you will work with HR leaders and stakeholders to assess the current state of recruitment and talent management processes, and identify opportunities to optimise and streamline these processes. You will leverage your expertise in talent acquisition, talent management, and HR operations to design a new target operating model that will enable HSBC to attract, retain and develop top talent across our global organisation.



Key Accountabilities

 

  • Conduct a thorough assessment of HSBC's current recruitment and talent management processes, systems, and technologies.
  • Partner with HR leaders and stakeholders to identify pain points and areas for improvement in current processes.
  • Design a new target operating model for recruitment and talent management, incorporating best practices from across the industry.
  • Develop a roadmap for implementation of the new target operating model, including timelines, resource requirements, and key milestones.
  • Progress reporting on a weekly / monthly basis to Global Programme Management Team
  • Attend Programme meetings, forums and workshops and contribute as the SME for TOM
  • Work collaboratively with HR and business leaders to gain buy-in and support for the new target operating model.
  • Communicate progress and outcomes to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment and talent management, including experience designing and implementing target operating models.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and processes, including talent acquisition, talent management, and succession planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
