Job Title: HR Solution Design Analyst (Business Analyst)
Location: HSBC London
Duration: 6 Months Initially, high probability of extension
Pay Rate: £522 Per Day PAYE ( or Umbrella )

Job Description:


The Business Analyst - Onboarding will be responsible for the end-to-end design activities of the Onboarding solution for the Total Talent Transformation Programme.

Overall accountabilities include:
 
  • Analyse Onboarding processes, identify streamline and automation opportunities, reengineer process to improve automation potential
  • Develop detailed To Be Process Description (PDD) and Solution Design Document (SDD)
  • Conduct business requirements gathering and design thinking sessions to define and produce Onboarding future state design artefacts
  • Manage training creation and delivery for the Onboarding processes introduction supporting Delivery Services and other HR users
  • Work with the HR stakeholders and other teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures throughout Onboarding solution implementation
  • Act as a solutions functional expert
  • Contributes to the change management and communication activities of new/changed functionality to ensure accuracy of communication and adequate user education is delivered
  • Responsible for ensuring that To-be Onboarding process and system changes are appropriately specified from a business requirements perspective and user acceptance tested and signed-off. Contributes creation of adequate action plans to implement any necessary workarounds are drafted by the relevant GSO delegate and the correct governance model is followed
  • Risk identification, risk reporting and devising interventions to mitigating risks

Operational Performance:
 
  • Defines requirements management processes and designs detailed business solutions and structures based on business requirements translated into technical solutions, challenges business intent in a constructive manner
  • Manages requirements traceability through design and delivery
  • Manages reengineering of processes, where process is one of the many parts of the change, and provides detailed guidance on process design (considering risk, end-to-end and cost)
  • Supports the programme management with impact assessment for change requests on design, scope, time, budget or effort on programme plan and provides accurate estimates for handling new requirements, design changes and scope.

The role holder will report into the Design Lead – Onboarding.
The role holder works independently and has a high level of flexibility to consult with the business at all levels. They will need to have the ability to work closely with and build good relationships with HRIT and Delivery Services SMEs.

The role holder will be responsible for managing the analysis and design of the Onboarding processes leveraging Onboarding technology chosen by HSBC as part of the Total Talent Transformation programme.
