Agile Coach

Rate £600.00 per day PAYE / £770.59 per day Umbrella

Hybrid working - expected in London office occasionally

6 Month Contract

 

Role Summary:

HSBC are currently searching for an ambitious individual to join our team as an Agile Coach. They are looking for an individual with hands-on experience working with and coaching various teams in the way of agile working. They are searching for a professional who is confident working with a number of stakeholders to address issues and create creative solutions! If successful, you would be expected to train and support Business Analysts and other team members in how to successfully document user stories, please see the responsibilities below for further detail;

Key Responsibilities:

Overall Role Responsibilities:

· Pod Level Agile Assessment Experience: Ability to conduct current state pod level ways of working assessment (scrum assessments) and advise on priority areas for improvement

· Pod Level Coaching experience: Ability to coach individual pods on how to run a scrum, how to structure a pod, how to set-up and manage a backlog, how to write good user stories, how to use Jira, how to run UAT

· Planning Increments experience: Ability to advise sub-value streams on running planning increments

· Problem Solving: Ability to work closely with stakeholders to provide creative solutions to problems

· Creating Practical Reference Materials Experience: Ability to create short, effective and practical reference materials for the wider team and provide training to them as needed

· Tooling experience: Practical knowledge in the usage of Jira in particular to aid management reporting

 

(note this is not an enterprise / leadership coaching position, this role is focused on team development)

 

Key Experience / Skills:

Experience and skills that are required for this role are as follows:

· Experience working within financial services, preferably within global banks

· Hands on practical experience as an agile coach

· Agile qualifications

· Experience carrying out Scrum assessments and advising on potential improvements

· Experience creating reference materials which can be used to provide training across teams

· Experience working with / coaching teams

· Experience working with Jira
