Rate: £550.00 PAYE P/D or £706.38 Umbrella P/D

Role Summary:
HSBC are currently searching for an ambitious, analytical and organised Project Manager to join their Wholesale BRR. This is a unique opportunity to work at HSBC within their Wholesale BRR which offers support and rewards that will take you further within your career.
Key Responsible
- Manage the BRR projects (Info Control) and component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes
- Maintain effective project controls and procedures
- Report progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to working groups and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation
- Drive delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget, and risks
- Knowledge and Experience:An understanding of the regulatory landscape in a global banking and markets environment (desirable)
- Excellent analysis skills, with ability to structure problems and find solutions
- Ability to facilitate decision making process and to drive implementation across different regions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Clarity
- In-depth understanding of project management best practices and methodologies
- Understanding the importance of information barriers and the Need-to-Know Principle
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and analysis skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities whilst maintaining the delivery focus
- Ability to work with little supervision, proactive, with drive and energy
- Excellent communication skills at all levels (both written and oral)
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Ability to understand the detail but also able to take a big picture approach
- Experience of leading change initiatives in large organisations
- Delivery focused, and able to meet and manage deadlines
- Demonstrated experience of working on project implementations in the Compliance / Risk / Regulatory arena within investment banking
- Experience and knowledge of first line non-financial / financial risk management
