Job title – HSBC Business Analyst (Omnia insights programme)

Location – London (Hybrid)

Rate – PAYE £450.00/ Umbrella £ per day

Start date – ASAP

Contract – Until the end of the year (with potential to extend)

Our client HSBC are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the insights workstream of the Omnia programme (a key strategic initiative, delivering a singular golden source of client returns information to facilitate improved client and capital decision making.) This role will be based from the HSBC London office working remote/hybrid. HSBC are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced business analyst who has Knowledge within change/delivery and finance. If you are successful with this role as a Business Analyst, you will be expected be able to undertake the following role responsibilities and get started straight away

Role responsibilities include:

Analytical support to technology workstream, as driven by programme-level priorities
Detailed requirements gathering, data analysis and support to technical delivery
Working with Project Manager to ensure that all key stakeholders and business areas are appropriately considered and engaged from requirements to design and implementation
Adherence to workstream governance structures and attendance to relevant forums
Internal workstream MI and wider business engagement as required

Key skills:

Proven track record of project delivery/change in finance, technology and data-led programmes.
Background in technical requirements gathering and technology deployment
Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across boundaries
Demonstrable ability to effectively balance risk, time and business need
Resourceful, creative, and inquisitive approach to operating with complexity and ambiguity
Highly motivated, excellent interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial and autonomous, with ability to prioritise.
Background in financial reporting (risk/revenue) of large corporate and/or institutional client returns (preferable)
Understanding of ESG reporting solutions (preferable)
