Job title – Workforce Planning Project Manager

Location – London / Hybrid

Rate – £522.50 PAYE

Start date – ASAP

Contract – 6 months

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Workforce Planning Project Manager

Role purpose (overall high level summary of the role)

The Project Manager (Workforce Planning) is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the initiative to implement the HR solution to connect with the group position management and cost planning tool.

In leading the project, they will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below:

  • Leading the recruitment of a mobilisation team with the group recruitment partner, initially estimated to include a Solution Architect and Business Analysts (Process and Data).
  • Managing the interlock between the HR, Finance, and other group teams to agree design, build and test requirements.
  • Partnering with the Workforce Strategy & Insights to ensure alignment with HR strategy
  • Mobilising the project from inception, ensuring robust governance structures are in place and adhere to the group Change Framework, to facilitate effective project delivery in line with financial and key milestone targets.
  • Managing a holistic view across change impacts and interventions; readiness; active risk, assumption, issue, and dependency (RAID) management; financial planning and tracking (including benefits tracking as appropriate); milestones identification and management; and senior stakeholder management (both within and external to the Group HR function).
  • Ensuring the project team is resourced appropriately and within budget.
  • Engaging and managing multiple with the intention of mediating disputes and achieving a coherent delivery plan for the project and executing against it.
  • Developing and managing the implementation approach and plan, including liaison with global teams to ensure deployment plans align and consider any wider activities / dependencies outside of project delivery that may impact plans.
  • Developing and managing the change management approach and plan, including articulation of change impacts, change interventions to manage / mitigate impacts and secure buy in and increase readiness of teams and stakeholders.
  • Supporting the HR Chief Administrative Officer in representing the project aims / objectives, status, risks / issues, and financial performance at wider governance forums and with senior stakeholders as required.

 

 

Key knowledge and experience

  • 3 years min experience managing Complex project  
  • Complex transformation programme management experience
  • Run the design peace , testing and roll out of programme
  • Knowledge of hr workforce planning and experience with data that is handled e.g people data
  • Subject matter expertise
  • Help build the team and influence recruitment process
  • Resilient and to the point
  • Experience with using Anaplan ,HR Is systems , success factor , any SAP system
  • Strong Stakeholder management experience
  • Must have amazing Communications skills
  • Able to collaborate &  build teams

 

Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders

  • Ensure that the implementation of the project is effectively led and managed with clear and concise plans aligned with the strategy of the Group HR function and HR Transformation globally.
  • Influence and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders – inside and outside of the department – working closely with all Global Business and Group Function partners, building strong relationships, ensuring consensus, and effectively influencing change outcomes.

Leadership & Teamwork 

  • Management of actions and co-ordination of the working group membership and project delivery team
  • Working in collaboration with broader HR Transformation and stakeholder groups outlined above.

Functional Knowledge

  • Large scale project management and delivery experience
  • Understanding of Workforce Planning solutions and the interlock between data sources (HR, Finance)
