Role Summary:
HSBC are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their team! If successful you will become part of the transaction screening Change team which is responsible for managing the Transaction Screening filter (WOLF) across the group for 50+ countries over 5 regions. The purpose of this position is to provide functional and analytical support for the day-to-day BAU Change management of the WOLF filters globally. This role will cover changes to the sanction list data, basic tuning rules, analysing changes to list entries, exclusion creation plus the ability to assist with any upgrades to the filter and resource files.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Responsible for the continual assessment of operational risks associated with the role
- Provide functional support to day-to-day BAU change management
- Provide analytical support to day-to-day BAU change management
- Cover changed to the Sanction list, basic tuning rules, analyzing changes to list entries
- Have a grasp of the full BAU change agenda
- Work closely with and understanding the stakeholders / their impact on the various channels of change delivery
- Demonstrate compliance with HSBC Bank plc Group standards, manuals and policies
Knowledge and Experience:
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Understanding of the Sanction Screening BAU Change and Risk processes
- Understanding of Sanctions and Regulations and the impact that they have on the bank
- Understand the project life cycle and methodologies relevant to conducting effective change exercises
- Have a strong analytical, numeric, and problem-solving skills
- Enjoy working as part of an international team
