Agile Trainer
£575.00 PAYE / £649.17 Umbrella
Hybrid working – (Chester / Sheffield / Edinburgh / Flexible)
Contract until 31/12/2022

Role Summary:

HSBC are currently searching for an ambitious individual to join our team as an Agile Trainer. Within this position you would be responsible for the management and completion of the full training cycle, (training needs analysis, content design, delivery, evaluation), but with focus on Agile Methodology. You will lead on and support the practical use of Agile (and Value Streams), improving skills & knowledge capability of colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
Overall Role Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for defining and planning the end-to-end approach needed to deliver a change successfully
  • Use advanced change management approaches and techniques for gaining commitment to change initiatives
  • Manage and coordinate the successful execution of change implementation plans
  • Follow through change adoption effectively to ensure it is properly adopted and embedded
  • Generates creative new ideas, approaches and solutions, feeding these into iterative development in an appropriate and constructive manner
  • Challenges existing methods and ways of working, generating enhancements to processes with resultant improvements in outputs 
  • Delivers innovative continuous improvement in both personal sphere of work and outside the immediate team
  • Facilitates stakeholders to work more collaboratively and collectively, sharing knowledge and ideas that support the delivery of change requirements
  • Respond to multiple requirements, competing priorities and critical work demands with flexibility and resilience
  • Grasp complex and incomplete information to make timely decisions
  • Identify and progress innovative solutions for working smarter or enhancing products and/or services
  • Proactively apply change management approaches and techniques
  • Champion the right thing to do for customers/stakeholders/colleagues
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to diversity, inclusion and well-being in everyday actions
  • Interpret spoken and unspoken signals to create a deeper understanding and engagement with others
  • Proactively manage a broad and diverse network of collaborative relationships

Key Experience / Skills:
Experience and skills that are required for this role are as follows:

  • A Training or L&D qualification (e.g. CIPD)
  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • People and outcome focused / Team player / Self-confidence
  • Ability to stay calm and have patience with global stakeholders (sponsors, business stakeholders, global training teams, project and IT teams); being able to communicate with clarity
  • Ability to interpret how/where changes will create real life learning and job-role impacts for the end user
  • Managing, facilitating and chairing working groups, meetings and planning sessions
  • Understanding and practical use of ‘delivery methodologies’ (e.g. Agile, Value Streams, Waterfall)
  • Playing a practical role in the capability development of colleagues across Risk & Compliance Transformation
