Job title – Senior Business Analyst – TOM Design

Location – London / Hybrid

Rate – PAYE £522.50 / Umbrella £678.38 per day

Start date – ASAP

Contract – 7 months


Our client HSBC are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team, undertaking a hybrid working role, this contract will be for 7 months.

 

Role Purpose

In this role, you will be:

Delivering value to the HSBC Wholesale Business which supports Commerical & Corporate clients globally who require access to a range of specialised Data & Analytics skills in locations across the globe. 

As part of the transformation of the Wholesale Data & Analytics proposition globally, a Future state organisation design is required – what role will each of the teams play and how will we transition from current state to target state.

This will require:

·      Understanding the Products and Services provided by Wholes Data & Analytics

·      Working with Regional WCDAO Teams to document current state capabilities and designing, in collaboration with them, the future state capabilities

·      Working with Head of Global Analytics Centre (GAC) Wholesale to document current state capabilities and designing, in collaboration with them, the future state capabilities

·      Working with SMT and their representatives to document Global WCDAO capabilities

·      Liaising with Group D&A (DAO) to understand their design and how that will impact any WCDAO Future state design

·      Designing the Organisation structure in Region, GAC and Global, including transition states, factoring work on Shared Services and People development work currently underway.

·      Managing Working Groups and Design Workshops as required

·      Status reporting and RAID management

·      Build trusting relationships with stakeholders

·      Ensure requirements from multiple areas are aligned and conflicts are resolved effectively.

·      Managing expectations of multiple stakeholders and resolving conflicts. 

 

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·      Proven track record in the delivery of change initiatives within a banking environment.

·      An understanding of banking business and products and how a Finance function operates within this type of business

·      Good Microsoft Office skills including MS Visio and MS Powerpoint

·      Experience presenting to stakeholders

·      Experience of business process re-engineering or operating model design.

·      Experience in the documentation of operating models and/or business requirements.

·      Experience of service centre design or offshoring programmes

·      Project Management Skillset including planning, RAID management and communication

·      Specific “Target Operating Model” or "TOM" experience within a Data & Analytics function ance programme.
