Programme Overview:

 

The Bank of England’s Resolvability Assessment Framework (RAF), which set out new requirements on banks to become fully resolvable by 1st January 2022, requires HSBC to build and maintain capabilities to support resolution and take accountability for its own resolvability. The Day 1 capability has been delivered and there is now a Day 2 Programme of work to enhance capability. In addition, HSBC has committed to improve its Recovery planning capability in line with regulatory feedback.

 

Role Description:

 

The RRP BA is primarily accountable for supporting the development and delivery of RRP Programme deliverables for a specific workstream in order to meet the BoE’s RAF/Recovery requirements. The role holder will produce meaningful documentation to support compliance with RRP requirements and effectively collaborate with businesses and functions to materially improve the ultimate delivery outcomes for the RRP Programme.

 

The BA role will hold most or all of the following responsibilities:

 

1.       Workstream analysis and support for SMEs where dedicated support is not available

2.       Supporting the workstream Project Manager to work with a broad range of stakeholders (internal and external), to translate requirements and advice into appropriate deliverables for completion within programme timelines

3.       Supporting management of interdependencies with other senior members of global businesses, functions and legal entities in order to collaborate effectively and improve the delivery outcomes for the RRP Programme

4.       Remediation co-ordination support between SMEs/workstream sponsors/PM

5.       Governance and Working Group material co-ordination

6.       PMO/Project Management support

7.       Lead briefings for stakeholders within a workstream

8.       Leverage SME knowledge to support development and delivery towards workstream milestones

 

The role holder will have prior BA experience in a financial markets environment, preferably within regulatory change projects, will be highly organized and efficient, a strong communicator and able to work with a large variety of stakeholders.
