Snr Java Engineer/Architect – Financial Crime, Sanctions, Screening, Payments

 

Leading banking organisation has urgent work to deliver upgrades, costs reductions and support for critical systems in their anti financial crime lab and seeks Java focused engineers or architects with strong prior experience in: Financial Crime, Screening, Sanctions, Payments Screening or Anti-Fraud.

 

Preference is for candidates who have previously worked on payments sanctions and payments screening solutions BUT more general experience of sanctions, screening, anti-fraud and financial crime will be fine for these roles. Any previous experience working with Fircosoft would be highly beneficial. Candidates can be either experienced Java software engineer in the financial crime, sanctions and screening sector OR have moved into design focused architect/solution architect positions but again the knowledge across financial crime

Sanctions, screening or payments screening is essential.

 

Any prior experience of the impacts to screening processes eg the data, the rules etc , particularly of the move across to ISO20022 for Payments would also be highly valued.

 

ALL experienced Financial crime Java developers or financial crime architects who have previously worked in the UK banking sector either Designing or developing Fraud, Sanctions or Screening solutions should apply now.

 

Roles will be Inside IR35 via an Umbrella. Rates vary from £650-825 depending on role and experience. Work will be a mix of remote and some office base in London area.
