Project Manager – Payments, SEPA, ISO20022, Swift – Banking
Uk Consulting firm seeks to engage a highly experienced Project Manager with very strong payments sector experience Including SEPA, ISO20022, Swift etc to work for major global bank. Only Project Managers with demonstrable previous Payments sector knowledge in the stated areas should apply.
Experience Required:
- 10+ years of Payments Industry experience, having worked in Tier-1 IT organizations in BFSI domain for large payments modernization/SEPA compliance projects.
- Overall Banking & Financial services industry knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to lead domain discussions independently.
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsors and gain consensus and agreement
- Experience in implementing Cloud Projects
Job Description:
- IT Project Manager would be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating an IT project teams.
- Leadership skills - Manage & lead teams to coach, counsel, support and develop staff.
- Project Management - End-to-end management of initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & closure.
- AGILE Methodologies - Practitioner of agile methodologies for delivering complex programs & projects.
- Cross-functional Coordination - Manage a globally distributed and onshore-offshore delivery model.
- Communication Skills – Interface with stakeholders up till CxO levels in both business & technical languages.
- Knowledge of Banking Payment Systems and/or Banking Domain.
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 and SWIFT formats, payment schemes.
- Multi-disciplined project teams include DevOps engineers, IT architects, infra specialists, developers & testers
The role will be Inside IR35 and will pay circa £600 p/day PLUS 28 days paid holiday at that rate and Optional pension. Role will be mix of remote and occasional on site work in London.
