URGENT ! Payments Architect/Technical Product Owner - SEPA, Cross Border, ISO20022
Major global bank seeks a hybrid Payments Solution Architect/Product Owner with very strong Sepa Instants, Sepa Classic, High Value Cross Border payments and strong messaging with ISO20022 to help deliver a major payments migration project from existing platform to new solution.
You should be an experienced Payments architect in the Sepa, Cross border and ISO20022 sector who also has experience of being a technical product owner of similar payments solutions. You do need to be fairly technical and delivery focused as an architect. This is NOT a high level, design only, strategic role.
The immediate focus for the role going forward is leadership of Migration activities from the existing solution to the target one that is being put in place. Looking even further out, it would probably be repeating the whole cycle of activities for other European locations (although this phase of the programme hasn't kicked off yet).
In general, there is a very strong emphasis for the role on the solution ownership, to the extent where the architect in this role not only acts as a snr architect in the team, gives direction to BAs, facilitates, but also acts as almost a Technical Product Owner.
- Strong payments knowledge for Sepa Instant, Sepa Classic (SCT and SDD), High Value/Cross border payments, including ISO20022, message types and purposes- both MT and MX.
- Solid understanding of the typical payments processes in the bank, from customer onboarding, corporate channels, to payments engines, to core banking systems, to screening activities, out/in-coming gateways, etc.
- Strong corporate channel knowledge- typical products, on-line and H2H channels, reporting etc.
- Strong digital transformation and technology experience
- Strong integration, change management and migration experience
- Strong ability to work with uncertainty, with distributed teams, and under different time zones
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to present complex IT subjects to most senior business stakeholders in an understandable way
- Leadership skills and decision making
- Agile skills, including acting in some capacity as technical product owner
