The Role

The Training Coordinator provides day to day administrative training activities for selected work groups in order to facilitate safe and effective delivery of training services to area of responsibility in line with legal, business and organisational needs. The Training Coordinator implements appropriate governance arrangements to ensure business training risks within their area of responsibility are mitigated.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications – 5 x GCSE’s grade C or above including Maths, English, Science (Or I.T) or Equivalent.

Computer literate and previous experience utilising systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Ability to analyse large quantities of data through the use of Pivot Tables / Graphs / Tables etc

Can provide evidence of being an effective team player with the ability to work with people at each level of the training organisation

Can demonstrate having the ability to engage others and work as part of a wider team

Demonstrable ability to deal with and influence people across a wide range of management levels

Self-motivated, self-starter and able to work on own initiative

Ability to prioritise own workload, with attention to detail and timescales.

Relevant administrative experience

Understands the Sellafield Site Training processes and procedures in line with the SLMS 4.02 suite of documentation

Understanding of Sellafield Ltd and how training is conducted and administered

Desirable Requirements

Demonstrable understanding and experience in the use of training IT systems such as OPMS

Appreciation of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)

Basic understanding of Project Management tools and techniques in order to manage small packages of work.
