Project Manager – Based - Hinkley Point A, Somerset – 17 months - £inside IR35

Job Deliverables

Strong Project Management skills

Infrequent travel to meetings off site (i.e. Chorley @ NSG works or Birmingham) and travel to Berkeley for project meetings will be required.

This role will be to manage the plant and equipment installation phase of the Modular Intermediate Level Waste Encapsulation Plant (MILWEP) project at Hinkley Point A.

This forms part of a programme of MILWEPs being delivered across Magnox in which one at Berkeley is in the installation phase.

This will be working closely with the contractor NSG to ensure the delivery of the MILWEP programme safely to cost and programme.

Installation works will be ongoing on a construction site and therefore industrial safety hazards are most prevalent.

The site is currently appointed to an external Principal Contractor and this will be handed over to NSG to act as Principal Contractor for the installation works at Hinkley in due course.

The Project Manager will have responsibilities under CDM 15 regulations client role.

The works will be undertaken outside of the RCA.
