Global Category Manager (Procurement)

Hybrid twice per month onsite in Brentford  

Pay up to £750 per day via Umbrella (inside IR35)

Role purpose / summary

 

The Global Category Manager for Tech Procurement is accountable for all sourcing and contract management across their assigned category(ies). This will include the development and implementation of category strategies; the contracting for master/service/product agreements within the categories; the management of supplier relationships that fall outside of the enterprise SRM structure for these categories; effective negotiation with Tech Suppliers, and management of internal stakeholders; and for ensuring appropriate BI and Analytics is maintained for the Tech Procurement Category.

This role will primarily support the R&D Tech Global Category Lead, primarily buying Software and Tech Services


Must have skills

·       Contract negations experience

·       Commercial negotiation experience

·       Tech software / service experience

·       SAS contract / tech service contract experience

·       Experience working across supply and R&D
