R&D Procurement Manager

Hybrid – London

Pay £470 per day via Umbrella (inside IR35)

Role purpose / summary

 

·       The Senior Manager in R&D Procurement will support the Global Medical Communications team with the sourcing, data analysis, contract management, stakeholder management and supplier relationship management across the category.

·       Be the global procurement business partner and align with various internal stakeholders: Other procurement teams, Finance, TPRM team (Third Party risk Management), Global and Local Medical teams…etc

·       Consolidate and analyse complex data in line with the category strategy.

·       Lead and execute RFPs

 

Requirements:

·       University Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s degree.

·       3-5 -year procurement experience, with indirect procurement expertise.

·       Proven negotiations and contract management skills.

·       Adaptability and flexibility.

·       English proficiency (written and oral), other language will be a plus

·       Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships

·       Demonstrated ability to effectively use negotiation and conflict resolution skills to protect GSK rights and interests

·       Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across multiple projects using project management skills

·       Proven ability to provide effective procurement management in complex organizations using technical expertise and analytical skills

·       

Must have skills

·       Good knowledge of the RFPs, RFIs and e-sourcing processes.

·       Strong stakeholder management skills are essential.

·       Data analysis capabilities

·       Advanced excel experience
