Role purpose:
To provide single point accountability for the operational support of the Comet system
To ensure the Comet system is supported in compliant manner and maintains Comet system inspection readiness
Key Responsibilities:
• User account management – adding, modifying, and inactivating user accounts
• User access reviews – periodic user access reviews
• User support – provide support to users regarding Comet system capability and general questions
• User communications – as needed, provide broadcast messages to the Comet users, typically related to planned downtime.
• Picklist management – add, modify, and inactive values in the Comet picklists to support business operations
• Change Controls - Review & approval of system and data change controls as the business representative
• TECH relationship – represent the business in daily interactions with TECH and attend periodic TECH reviews of the Comet system
• Testing – as needed, perform informal & formal testing of the Comet system to support a change control
• User communications – as needed, provide broadcast messages to the Comet users, typically related to planned downtime.
• SOP adherence – ensure SOP-governed activities are performed in accordance with the SOP
• Data extracts – as needed & appropriate, provide custom data extracts for users
• Inspections & Audits – provide support for any regulatory inspection or internal audit as requested
Competencies:
• ServiceNow – used to manage incidents, changes, and problems
• ITMS – knowledgeable execution of activities required by ITMS procedures
• ICE – used to manage Comet system support documentation
• PIER – used to manage Comet system documentation archives
• Veeva Quality Documents – used to manage documents
