CXC Global are recruiting for a dynamic Quality Engineer for an exciting opportunity with a well-known aviation company
The Quality Engineer provides Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitoring. This is a key role in providing quality assurance against the Quality Management System (QMS), MRP Part 145 Regulations and AS9100/AS9110 standards, with responsibility for contribution to and maintenance of the current capability/approval/certification. As a member of the Aircraft Programmes Quality function, the individual will be taking tasking and reporting on Quality matters to the Aircraft Programmes Quality Lead and Accountable Manager (Maintenance) (AM(M)), in the Quality Leads absence.
Responsibilities will include:
o Review the suitability of Suitably Qualified and Experienced Persons (SQEP) of personnel, to allow relevant authorisations to be issued
o Leading FOD initiatives and regular FOD walks of Hangar/controlled areas
o Conducting internal audits against MRP Regulations and AS9100/9110 standards
o Undertaking quality and safety investigations
o Non-conformance Management and inputting data into software tools
o Supporting customer on site meetings with regards to Quality Occurrence Reports
o Supporting Operations Management with regards to on site and contract Quality Assurance
o Other Quality related tasks as directed by the Quality Team Lead and Quality Manager
Desirable Education/Experience
o HNC in an Aerospace/Engineering discipline
o Aircraft Maintenance Experience
o Experience Aerospace / Defence background
o Previous Fixed Wing or Rotorcraft knowledge and experience
o Previous experience of Quality Assurance Management
o Lead/ Internal Auditor AS9100 /ISO9001
o Knowledge of MAA Regulations, 1000 and 4000 RA's
o Quality Management techniques
o Continuous Improvement Techniques and Management
o Occurrence Investigation experience
