ServiceNow Architect


At CXC, we have the pleasure of partnering with an innovative and forward-thinking global technology client who is searching for a ServiceNow Architect to join their team on a contract basis.This exciting opportunity will allow you to work within the Cloud & Edge Architects Capability being a part of the Projects and Consulting organization within the Cloud Infrastructure Services business unit. 


The role is a client facing, Architecture & Consulting position which requires good presentation and communication skills as well as good technical capabilities. Successful applicants will be able to work with end clients across the globe on the most exciting & latest technologies based on ServiceNow platform.


Their Architect team actively support business initiatives by building reliable, efficient, scalable, and business oriented solutions based on ServiceNow platform and are involved in design and architecture of complex systems on all levels, from legacy migration, through core platform setup, to integrations, automations, and orchestrations.


Key Responsibilities


·        Lead and manage the ServiceNow transformation and transition for small to large scale international implementations

·        Use techniques like Service Maturity Assessment and requirements gathering to quickly capture or understand the ServiceNow requirements

·        Able to articulate the objective and business benefits with clients, during transition and transformation phases

·        Be a technical architect for all ServiceNow related solutions, including understanding and documenting the full ServiceNow architecture solution

·        Lead ServiceNow workshops and work streams as needed and work either on your own or within a larger program team

·        Be the primary point of contact for overall ServiceNow architecture and functionality; have a full understanding of how integrations, database and all other ServiceNow applications are related and dependency impacts of any changes or updates


You

·        An experienced ServiceNow Architect with proven leadership capabilities in technical implementations

·        Proven experience in architecting, building, and supporting complex implementations in a large-scale enterprise ServiceNow environments

·        Excellent at communicating technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences

·        Analytical mind with evaluative and problem-solving abilities, able to define technical solutions aligned with client’s business problems at an architectural and design level of detail

·        Able to effectively undertake challenges and have experience in leading a project and teams in a complex environment.

·        Able to present business cases, strategies, and solutions



Technical knowledge / certifications:

  • Certified in ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations (Expert preferred) and strong foundation in ITSM core processesExperience in designing architecture for ITSM and 2 ServiceNow modules/features as a minimum (ITOM, HR, SAM, ITBM, Orchestration)
  • Understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SOAP, SCP, FTPS, JSON
  • Micro-services architecture understanding and enterprise integration concepts
  • Experience with other ITSM software (BMC Remedy ITSM, HP, Landesk, etc.), experience with ITSM tool migration and upgrade projects
  • Practical experience in common Automation and Orchestration Technologies in ServiceNow
  • ServiceNow Certifications: Certified ServiceNow System Administrator and CIS in at least one module
