Capgemini’s Cloud Infrastructure Services unit is a global team of technology experts and domain specialists that helps businesses from all around the world extract maximum business value from their IT investment and facilitates their journeys to the cloud. 

In addition to facilitating journeys to the cloud, we support businesses by providing services such as helpdesk services (human and AI powered), network access and maintenance, hosting and maintaining applications, IT operations and much more. We do all this in 24 languages from 4 locations in Poland. Join our global team and be part of technology transformation. You will join us on a 3 month rolling contract basis. 

You will be working closely with business units to design and develop Service Now solutions per user and system requirements. Your role will be integral to an agile product development team creating early stage low-fidelity POCs and prototypes then following through with the development team to ensure delivery of production quality code. You will embrace the art of the possible and serve as a trailblazer in finding the best possible solutions integrating capabilities of the NOW platform with other PaaS offerings to meet business requirements. 

You will bring a wealth of experience in utilizing the tools and technologies below:

• Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.

• Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.

• Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.

• Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.

• Champions a structured approach to business application solutions.

• Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.

• Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.

• Influences changes to standards when necessary.

• Assists domain architecture team on solutions management and timing of financial spend for application solutions.

• Supports the architectural aspects of all application projects in peer IT portfolios.

• Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.

• Develops and executes solutions which further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.

• Provides analysis of security protection technologies as necessary.

Skills:

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with hands-on experience implementing Integration systems in large-scale initiatives (MuleSoft, TIBCO, Kong, Axway, WSO2, WebMethods, etc.) with Java/J2EE background on Amazon Web Services Cloud environment.

• 7+ years’ experience in designing HLD's and LLD's Architecture documents for Amazon Web Services cloud environments using EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, VPC, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, etc. services.

• 5+ years hands experience on Kafka / Confluent / Data Streaming / Managed Service Kafka development/operational platform experience on Amazon Web Services Cloud.

• Experience in Amazon Web Services DevOps tool chain together with Jenkins/Puppet/Chef, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, etc.

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • AWS or Amazon Web Services Certified


• Experience in Log and Performance Monitoring tools using ELK, Kibana, Logstash, etc.

• Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional would be an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of Kafka architecture including offset management, partition strategy, Kafka Security with Kerberos, Connectors, Producer and consumer APIs.

• Good understanding of Spark framework and Streaming message delivery semantics.

• Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills with experience working in DevOps Product Teams.

• Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent initiatives with related or independent goals.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
