Workday Financial Data Integration Consultant

Remote (UK working hours)

6 Month contract + extensions

Outside IR35

You will be working with one of the worlds largest consulting services companies where you will be exposed to the future of technology, work with some of the brightest global minds in the industry, and support many of the biggest brands in the UK and worldwide. This companies clients are coming to them with large scale implementations and upgrades for clients using workday and clearwater solutions, they are looking to create strong technical teams consisting of contractors to assist with these projects

The Job:

• Work direct with our customers under the guidance and direction of our Project Leads on new integration deployments,
• Work with multiple new and existing clients, building productive, in-depth relationships,
• Engage with initial implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition,
• Consult with customers to deliver appropriate and forward-thinking solutions
• Participate in the integration discovery process, obtaining a thorough understanding of the client's business requirements and identifying the most appropriate integration approach,
• Translate the client's requirements into a detailed design that fully leverages the Workday integration toolset
• Fully utilise the Workday integration toolset to build robust integration solutions for our clients,
•  Investigate and deliver solutions to issues raised by customers,
• Conduct root cause analysis and guide the client in implementing improvements and preventative measures,
• Participate in health checks on our client's Workday integration landscape; providing recommendations to ensure optimal performance, improve accuracy and ensure the client is maximising their Workday investment,
• Provide input into continuous process improvements based on your project experiences.

Have you:

• 3+ years’ experience in Workday Data Integration
• Workday certified in the financial modules (workday financial certified) ideally with banking integration expertise.
• Relevant workday experience includes FDM, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Grant and/or Fund Management, Procurement, Fixed Assets, Projects, Cash/Treasury, Financial Reporting
• Thorough understanding of and experience in the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware),
• Use excellent oral and written communications skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels,
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise, responding with a sense of urgency to immediate needs,
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change,
• Workday Integration Core and additional Workday Integration certifications are required.
