IT Business Analyst – Financial Services Chester Contract: 6 month Our leading Financial Services client Bank of America Merrill Lynch is currently seeking to recruit a IT Business Analyst to work in the offices based in Chester.
The Global Mobility & Social organization, part of CTO Workspace Services (WSS) is responsible for the banks Social, Chat and Mobility strategy, managing a portfolio of end user facing products and services.
The team are responsible for defining all related Service, Product and Programme Management roadmaps for Social & Mobility globally, securing pipeline investment and delivering next-gen products into service.
The requirement for a Business Analyst has arisen within the Global Mobility & Social portfolio to manage the interface with its internal stakeholders and consumers.
Responsibilities:
• Daily, Weekly, Quarterly co-ordination, tracking and status reporting between Stakeholders.
• Ensure all Permit to Define (PTD) and Permit to Operate (PTO) artefacts.
• Plan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required and presents findings of studies to client committees
• Review a variety of areas including operations, purchasing, inventory, distribution and facilities
• Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
• Proactively suggest changes to stakeholders using analytics to support your recommendations.
• Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
Skills:
• Previous IT BA experience within financial services
• Familiarity with cloud enabled Instant Messaging platforms (e.g. Symphony, Skype Online, Slack etc.)
• Familiarity with the Mobility frameworks incl. MAM and MDM desirable.
• Familiarity with vendor specific eco-systems incl. Apple, Android and Blackberry BES UEM desirable.
• A clear and unambiguous communicator, methodical, disciplined, confident & assertive.
• Experienced in managing (sometimes competing) agendas across Stakeholders, Architecture, Engineering, Operations, Product & Service Management to ensure the original design brief is achieved.
• Experience of Collaboration & Productivity Suite integration with Mobility (Skype for Business, Office)
• Data analysis and presentation skills (e.g. MS Excel & MS PowerPoint)
