The client, are urgently seeking a Lead Java Developer to work on a new project.

Applicants who wish to apply should meet the following criteria:

- Strong Java background, with experience and interest in back-end development and systems (data) integration

- Able to provide technical and hands-on direction to a small development team, working on a greenfield / legacy replacement project

- Good understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and common integration technologies (e.g. JMS, SOAP/REST, FTP, JDBC etc.)

- Understanding of microservices architectures, domain modelling etc.

- Desirable skills: Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, JBoss Fuse (Camel, Active MQ, etc.)

- Advocate of agile development best practices (e.g. TDD/BDD, clean code, pair programming, continuous integration, continuous delivery etc.)

- Professional presence and effective communicator (at all levels)

– A self-starter with strong collaborative skills

- Excellent overall knowledge of a broad range of technology, and active learner
