Key objective:

  • Diagnosis and remediation of gaps in SOX controls for all in-scope markets with the goal to deliver long term success of markets to operate controls effectively and consistently as BAU.
  • Walkthrough of controls to identify any risks to phase 2 testing, validating against 2018 audit findings and audit commentary
  • Review existing control frames work and adapt where necessary, with implementation of mechanism to effectively operate the key controls across all markets
  • Help build the audit relationship capability within the local teams by ongoing education and awareness, and design future state payroll audit relationship governance model
  • Support teams in Phase 2 walkthrough (from January 2020)
  • Support in substantive analytical requests (from January 2020)
  • Document and upload controls to internal BeWise tool where necessary
  • Weekly reporting to governance committee to include RAG status risk reporting
  • Success tested on Q1 assertion of in-scope controls across all in-scope markets
  • Must have experience in Payroll
  • Must have SOX experience

Skills Required

  • Strong Stakeholder Management
  • Prior experience of owing audit relationship and designing effective controls
  • Understanding of the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act
  • Track record of demonstrating effective operation of controls
  • Must have experience in Payroll
  • Must have SOX experience
