Content Project Manager

GSK House, Brentford

4 Month Contract

Pay: up to £420 per day

GSK have an exciting 4-month opportunity, for a Content Project Manager, within the Global HR Operations team. GSK are embarking on a journey to transform the global onboarding experience. We are currently looking to develop a website with a 3rd party vendor, which will make the onboarding experience more engaging and help both our Hiring Managers and New Joiners feel connected and supported.

As the Content Project Manager, you will manage the day to day interactions with the 3rd party vendor and internal stakeholders. Using your excellent writing skills and a love for creating good content, you will review existing onboarding material and update (or create new) content, ensuring it is relevant, useful and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the migration of the GSK Onboarding content to a new website, replicating a site already existing for New Leaders at GSK.
  • Write Onboarding content that is employee centric, tag content correctly so it gets flagged in search, when to use which channel, how to create a great user experience through content, etc.
  • Own, manage and communicate all improvement opportunities within the Onboarding website, providing feedback on the pain points we are observing and ensuring these are considered in the website design.
  • In line with our Voice of the Customer strategy, identify knowledge gaps and improve/create new content: what is the content that employees are trying to look for and can’t find? What content do we have out there that is causing frustration as it is not intuitive and hard to digest?
  • Use a strong data-driven approach, design and conduct experiments to either test experience related hypothesis and/or validate proposed Onboarding experience related solutions
  • Develop and present recommendations to enhance the experience for ‘users’ (new employees, line managers). Prioritise solutions to move towards the desired future state experience. Support in the delivery of these recommendations.
  • Where issues/blockers are identified in the experience, suggest a ‘fix’ – support delivery and/or ensure the ‘fix’ is added to the project/product ‘backlog’
  • Identify changes to previously existing processes (e.g. intranet site, Workday communications, HR Service Centre communications) and ensure that overlapping information/communication is aligned or suppressed.
  • Partner with stakeholders in the Global HR Operations, Global Recruitment, HR Digital, Talent/Learning & Organisation Development, and IPT Strategy teams, as well as the external agency to deliver the project
  • Propose metrics to measure the success of the project, as well as measure the improvement of the Onboarding experience

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven project management experience – driving execution on fast paced website design initiatives within large complex organisations
  • Experience in creating engaging and impactful onboarding content (in line with communication and content best practices)
  • Confident with ability to influence and align stakeholders at Director and VP level (incl. 3rd parties)
  • Positive can-do attitude, who always keeps the employee at the heart of everything we do
  • Applies an analytical approach, with experience in producing and analysing employee-centred metrics and reports
  • Creative, engaging personality that helps people come together
  • Experience in agile ways of working – a plus
