9 Month Contract

Pay: up to £340 per day


This role will provide technical writing support to the R2R Process Owner to ensure that project documentation is up-to-date, accurate and clearly explains how to utilise the CERPS template.

The CERPS Documentation Specialist will organise, author and maintain the global standard operating procedures (GSOPs) which provide each CERPS user with a clear explanation of the processes to be used to operate their business.

The specialist will also support the management and documentation of the Business Process Solution Documents (BPSD) which are used by the ERP programme to detail the business process that needs to be supported by the functional design.

Responsibilities

• Analyse template changes and insure all changes are up versioned and reflected within the core CERPS process documentation set (primarily BPSD and GSOP)

• Work closely with CERPS functional and process teams to understand how the system is designed to meet the new business requirements

• Ensure documentation standards are followed as defined by GSK’s Quality Review organisation

• Peer review other authors’ documentation to meet quality review standards

• Manage the authoring and workflow routing of document updates to ensure proper review and approval has taken place

• Update or correct documentation on an emergency basis as required

• Work closely with other documentation specialists or other process stream staff to ensure overall documentation coordination. This could be across other programmes such as M-ERP

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills, and attention to detail are required

• Strong MS Word, Excel and Visio skills are required

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the strong, proven ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to operate in a high-pressure environment under tight deadlines

• A background in technical writing, describing business requirements and processes

• A good understanding of Supply chain and Warehousing processes used within a Pharmaceutical or Consumer business context

• Understanding of SAP solutions to support Supply Chain Planning and W&D including APO, ECC and BW
