Description

­ Provides operational support to the 5 teams and >35 staff based in the Artwork & Packaging Services office in Barnard Castle.

­ Ensures the facility is functional and fit for purpose and is at all times audit ready in line with GxP expectations for the Barnard Castle Site as a whole.

­ Provides analytical support to all teams within the global department.


Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the office facility and consumables for a team of >35 people in D-Block Barnard Castle site.

Interact with Site Facilities and external vendors for office fixes, improvements, raising help desk calls and deal with any other issues that could otherwise adversely impact the effectiveness of those working in the building.

Maintain the print room for use by operational staff, including specialist plotters and proofreading equipment also coordinating external engineer visits to resolve hardware problems.

Ensure and maintain readiness for site, internal and external level 2/3 audits. Facilitate, coordinate and liaise with key staff to prepare and plan the department for audit readiness.

As records retention champion, ensures Artwork & Packaging Services are fully compliant (~30m of secured filing for GxP records with a retention policy of 7 years or more)

Facilitate Risk Management Control Board and Quality Council meetings to monitor training compliance and progress against mitigation plans (Packaging Functions in APS).

Provide a range of PMO services and programme support for the PASS LT members based at the site.

Supports team leads with data analysis and KPI trending as necessary

Manages the Document Management process ensuring team documents are in compliance with the GSK Quality Management System (QMS)

Monitors training coordination and acts to ensure the BC contingent of Artwork & Packaging Services (>35 people) is achieving training compliance of 100%.

Routinely deals with sensitive cost and people related information and is expected to respond as appropriate. This includes P-card holder responsibilities and maintenance of staff diary of events archive.

Ensures GMS communications are cascaded within the Artwork & Packaging Services offices and SDCs.
