Treasury Accountant

GSK House (Brentford)

3 Month Contract

Pay: up to £350 per day


Role:

The Treasury Accountant role sits in the Treasury Accounting team, within Corporate Services, and has a key role supporting the reporting of key activities for Corporate Treasury’s cash management strategies and the rollout of in-house cash (“IHC”) across GSK as markets move on to the global ERP platform.

In addition to the above, the key responsibilities will be:

• Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and associated processes of the various IHC entities.

• Support the Manager Treasury Accounting on the global role out of SAP in relation to in-house cash activities and queries.

• Work collaboratively, and form good working relationships, with Genpact, IHC Global Tech support team, Corporate Treasury and Treasury Operations

This is an excellent opportunity to have a positive contribution to the Treasury Accounting function of a Global organisation. This role will report to the Manager Treasury Accounting within Corporate Services.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Qualified accountant ACCA, CIMA Have strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to structure work with focus to meet strict timelines

• Flexible “can do” attitude, with drive to see that task is completed to required standard

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• In House Cash Experience

• Proficiency in using Microsoft office, particularly Excel

• Willingness to challenge current processes, presenting rationale for improvement, including simplifying and automating where appropriate.
