A well-known Pharmaceutical organisation is requiring a Change Management with proven experience of CMO previously. This position will provide leadership on Change Management as part of a broader Category transformation office.

The selected candidate will directly contribute to the successful delivery of CH Category’s key strategic transformation priorities through enhancing effective change management implementation of key cross enterprise programmes and projects. These are highly visible efforts that impact multiple business areas and are reported monthly at CTB and to the SLT.

This role will provide you the opportunity to be a highly visible role model for a professional, credible and valued approach to change management delivery across Category. You will interact with VP and SVP level stakeholders, and SLT members from time to time.

Key Responsibilities include:

Create an actionable change plan with change management deliverables for projects in the Consumer Health category transformation, in line with the Consumer Health GPM change management framework.

Ensure that projects under the category transformation are effectively communicated to all who are impacted in GSK globally, and ensuring that these projects meet objectives by increasing adoption and usage, minimize resistance, while supporting those impacted by the changes.

Translates high-level strategy and scope into objectives and actionable implementation plans (e.g. resource plans, delivery plans, communication plans, change plans)

Work closely with Business leads and Project Managers to develop a change management strategy, tailored for each category transformation project and each market

Responsible for preparing deliverables aligned to the GPM change framework

Integrate change management activities into project plan

Evaluate and ensure user readiness

Support, engage, consult and coach senior stakeholders

Support training efforts

Track and report issues - complete ongoing change management assessments, to assess the change impact

Identify and manage anticipated resistance to change

Taking the lead on transition management, ensuring that business as usual is maintained during the transition and the changes are effectively integrated into the business.

Identifying, defining and tracking the benefits and outcomes required of the programme

Work with CH communications to develop a communication plan for all Projects under the category transformation, tailored for each category and market where applicable.

Support the roll out of the ongoing communications to the wider CH organisation on the category transformation portfolio

Provides an executive portfolio management (“air traffic control”) capability to understand what initiatives are underway and what their sequence and impact is

Ensures clear operational accountabilities are in place before off-boarding

The Change Lead will have to work through many other senior stakeholders in the CH organization and in the wider GSK organisation to succeed.

They will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor. The Change Lead may also provide direct support and coaching to managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.

Basic qualifications:

Bachelors degree in science, medicine, engineering, business or finance

Proven experience in establishing and running a large scale CMO previously.

Prior experience managing multiple strategy implementation and change programmes with a track record of high achievement in this role

Experience in managing the navigation of decisions on complex fast moving cross-functional and global projects through multiple parties in major, matrixed organisations

Consulting/advisory experience at the senior management level (e.g., through strategy role or change initiative role in industry, or in a professional services organisation), preferred but not essential

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or other advanced degree;

Professional Certification from internationally recognised / accredited institution (e.g. CMP, PMP, NTL OD Practitioner)

Consulting/advisory experience at the senior management level (e.g., through strategy role or change initiative role in industry, or in a professional services organisation)
