Transformation Delivery Lead – Supply Chain Planning

Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for end-to-end (“E2E”) solution delivery of Global Supply Chain Planning (“GSC”) solutions across GSK’s sites and markets globally. This role will lead the GSCD&T function to drive solution delivery, estimation activities, deployment and cutover activities across cross-functional GSC programs and proper alignment of all system integrations. The Lead will drive the alignment of activities, processes and information flow between the program delivery team and the entire IT organization. They will partner and collaborate with executive leadership, GSC leaders, IT Service Delivery, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Program Management and Supplier Operations. This is a highly influential role that will play a strategic part in aligning our GSC Planning activities across Tech.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the delivery of GSC planning solutions, ensuring they come together in one cohesive solution aligned to business expectations (OMP, Reporting, Decision Intelligence)
• Lead overall technical deployment planning so that it aligns to overall programme deployment planning
• Work closely with technical architects ensuring all governance is planned appropriately and carried out effectively
• Work closely with technical teams ensuring all other technical governance and documentation is planned appropriately and carried out effectively (as per Global regulatory compliance requirements), aligned to overall programme timelines
• Work closely with strategic solution partners, business process owners, architects/leads from other tracks and super users to close out every phase as part of deployment playbook or project methodology.
• Be a key conduit for the business teams (GSC, Finance, Commercial, R&D) into the tech workstreams and activity
• Effectively manage Deployment delivery, including performance reporting and RAID item management – including escalation as required
• Ensure technical planning and readiness ahead of a deployment of the new solutions into the business teams
• Work closely with the service manager and transformation technical lead ensuring correct support set-up ahead of deployment
• Develop & own the Tech delivery capability/framework, including brining in other capacities as needed aligned to the deployment plan
• Establishes deployment metrics and ensures each division, function, and region are measuring pre and post “Go Live” success metrics.
