Front End Developer

London (Hybrid)

Role Brief:

The Onyx Research Data Platform organization represents a major investment by GSK R&D and Digital & Tech, designed to deliver a step- change in our ability to leverage data, knowledge, and prediction to find new medicines. We are a full-stack shop consisting of product and portfolio leadership, data engineering, infrastructure and DevOps, data / metadata / knowledge platforms, and AI/ML and analysis platforms.

Technical Competencies:

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in developing complex web applications using React.

• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Vitest for writing unit, integration, and snapshot tests.

• Familiarity with reusable UI components and efficient state management in large-scale applications.

• Strong API development ability using technologies and standards like REST/GraphQL/gRPC or similar.

• Developing and deploying enterprise applications on Google Cloud

• Proficient in Git, Git workflows, and CI/CD tools.

• Experience in agile software development and common environments such as Jira and Confluence
